FILA’s story dates to 1911 and a small Italian city close to the Alps. Four brothers provided the locals of their home town, Biella, with warm clothes and had a vision: to combine high-quality materials, classic design and fierce practicality.
Founded in 1923 and initially focusing on underwear, this dedication soon led to popularity beyond Italian borders. The global breakthrough happened in 1974 thanks to a sportswear collection that revolutionised design, particularly in tennis. The White Line Collection by designer Pier Luigi Rolando was provocative, unconventional yet simple and honest. It offered authentic sportswear a special cosmopolitan charm. FILA brought in some new colours, not only to white-material-dominated tennis world but also to classic, timeless looks that have made it around the world.
To this day, FILA represents sophistication as well as Italian craftsmanship and keeps impressing beyond the realm of sports, reaching the streets of metropolises and runways of high-end fashion shows. What began as a bunch of hats made in Daymond John’s Hollis Queens’ home by he and his close friends have turned the partners of FUBU into leaders in one of the most successful sportswear companies of all time and the creators of a whole category of marketing innovations that are now considered to be staples of industry.
1992 was the year Daymond and his close friends, Keith Perrin, J. Alexander Martin and Carl Brown came up with the idea to make and sell his own tie-top hats as a means of making “easy money”. Daymond mortgaged his home for $100,000 turning half of the house into a factory and the other half into living space for “TEAM FUBU”.
The Team consisted of neighborhood friends, Vice President J. Alexander Martin and Cofounders Keith Perrin and Carl Brown. J. Alexander, Keith, and Carl are key members of “TEAM FUBU” to date.
Their philosophy was to make clothing for the consumer by the consumer. They turned their dream into a reality and today the businesses they founded over the years are still an active part of the four partners lives.
The earliest collection consisted of a small line of tops and hats with the FUBU logo. By 1995, an extensive sportswear line was designed and produced by FUBU, using raw materials imported from around the world. With the success of the collection, distributors and investors came calling. To date, over 5,000 stores have carried the FUBU collection and more than $6 billion in merchandise has been sold at retail.
FUBU represents determination, excellence, and boldness of the four partners who had the courage to go against the grain in 1992 and strike out on their own to form “TEAM FUBU”.

In 1967 the sports fashion label KAPPA was founded in Turin, Italy. Created back in the 1970s, the Omini logo is world-famous nowadays – symbolizing KAPPA’s idea of sportsmanship in the field of sports and our everyday challenges. Our claim ‘be a good sport’ refers back to this attitude.
The end of the 1970s marks the beginning of KAPPA’s commitment to Europe’s club football. After the first technical sponsorship in Italian football history (Juventus Turin) several other sponsorships with European top level football clubs followed. European Cup winners A.C. Milan, Ajax Amsterdam and Barcelona F.C. were among those teams.
During the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, Kappa became a household name when the USA Track and Field Team wore Kappa sportswear and took home a grand total of 50 metals: 26 gold, 15 silver and nine bronzes. In addition Kappa became sponsor of the famous New York Marathon.
Today Kappa’s tradition of aligning itself with the best teams and players in sports continues as the sponsor of clubs such as Napoli, Aston Villa, AS Monaco, Fiorentina, Betis Sevilla, Mainz 05 along with many others.

Karl Kani




You’d be hard-pressed to find another fashion label that represents the streetwear and hip-hop scene as well and as authentically as Karl Kani. Artists like 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. or Will Smith celebrated the brand for its casual cuts and stylish designs in the 90’s. Plenty of icons continue to celebrate it today. The brand was founded by 19-year-old Karl Kani in Brooklyn/New York in 1989. Originally known as Carl Williams, he was the first to introduce the concept of baggy jeans. Today, Karl Kani is recognised worldwide and is THE cult label when it comes to good streetwear and hip-hop fashion.

Vertere is a Berlin based contemporary fashion brand, founded and run by a collective of local DJs and designers. Vertere is a brand that brings people together. The idea of a collective is the very origin of us. After being active in the Berlin nightlife scene and fashion industry for more than 10 years and forming ever growing circles of designers, artists, djs and like-minded people, Vertere saw the light of day in 2017.
We cater to free-minded people who feel home in the culture around music, fashion and amusement. In only one and a half years we managed to build one of Berlin´s most exciting new lifestyle brands while staying strongly attached to our roots.

Von Dutch is a fashion brand that was created in the early 2000’s led by famed French designer, Christian Audigier. The iconic Hollywood brand has been a staple on the pop culture and music scene for over 15 years. Since the launch, Von Dutch exploded into the fashion world and became one of the most desired and recognizable brands of its time.
Von Dutch continues to be one of the most influential brands that has stood the test of time. Currently, executive director of design Earl Pickens continues to drive the future of Von Dutch to a place where street culture meets luxury fashion.
One of the most influential fashion designers of his time, Earl Pickens graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago followed by a successful career as artistic director for ready to wear high-end brands including Charles Jourdan, Marlboro International Sportswear (Valention groupe) and more. Pickens work was honored as winner of Lazarus (Designer of Tomorrow) Award and the coveted Perry Ellis Awards.
